A concert of unlikely electro-acoustic music featuring 5 of New York's most "likely" concert/improvising musicians.
On Staurday, July 10th at 8 PM First Avenue unleashes its final concert of the season with guests: Todd Reynolds - electric violin and Park Stickney - electric harp. Context Studios (28 Avenue A in the heart of the East Village) will host this electro-acoustic comprovisational event. The music will range from historic solo compositions by Bach, Telemann (and others) to improvisations in various combinations of oboe, English horn, digital horn, violin, double bass, bass guitar, piano, synthesizers and harp. SoFirst Avenue's William Kannar - Bass, C. Bryan Rulon - synthesizer/piano, Matt Sullivan - oboe; and guests: Todd reynolds - violin and Park Stickney - harp will be Tossin' and Turnin', Turnin' and Tossin' - a Tossin' and turnin' all night (actually, from 8 to about 10 PM)
