First Avenue's Rulon, Kannar and Sullivan puts it all together with three NYU faculty (Sullivan, Lamneck and Dick) for an evening of sensory communication. Ken Cro-Ken will project video live and First Avenue will vibrate, too. Hooked on Sonics will make your ears blush.

Performing C. Bryan Rulon's "Anti-Silence" and other new works by First Avenue, William Kannar and Matt Sullivan. This concert brings two well-known music ensembles together downtown and brings focus to FA's continuing commitment to integration of technology and traditional instruments. Quintet of the Americas will be uptown at Merkin Hall on April 21 and will premier C. B. Rulon's "Anti-Silence" for Wind Quintet and Computer at a concert called "Getting Current."
