KEN CRO-KEN

On Saturday October 10, 1998 - 9:00 PM, at Context Studios (28 Ave A), First Avenue presents an evening of "time released" music and paintings with First Avenue and guest performance artist/painter/videographer, Ken Cro-Ken. This unusual multi-media event sets paint and sound in motion. Audience members will experience two simultaneous processes: live visual/paint experiments projected onto video screens and monitors via several hand held and stationary cameras; and original electro-acoustic processed/improvised music performed by oboe/English horn/digital horn/double bass/computers/ synthesizers/ piano. First Avenue's electro-acoustic improvised music and Ken Cro-Ken's unique painting process produces a startling new world of extraordinary sights and sounds.
